Clients typically build long-term loyalty arrangements with generous sponsors who care enough about their success to be involved and contribute.  Word-of-mouth advertising in an incubator environment is swift and other clients and incubator associates will use a sponsor that has provided quality work.

As a nonprofit, the Hampton Roads Technology Incubator System relies on both monetary and in-kind contributions from organizations and individuals to achieve its goal.

You can help and benefit by becoming a partner through one of these sponsorship options:

Friends of the Incubator Sponsor (any contribution level is accepted)

A monetary* or in-kind contribution to the Incubator for the support of the services provided to clients.

As a Friend of the Incubator Sponsor, you will receive:

invitations to select mixers,
            a pair of tickets to client graduations, and
            your name or a hyperlink to your Corporate website on the appropriate HRTIS webpage

Event Sponsor ($250/event)

The Incubator System offers a variety of events to its clients and to those budding enterprises that are in need of mentoring or guidance along a strategic path.

As an Event Sponsor, you will:

get introductions to Incubator clients,
            receive invitations to select mixers and closed events,
            receive up to 5 seats at the event you sponsor or co-sponsor,
            get a hyperlink from the appropriate HRTIS website to your company website,
            get an opportunity to display banner and literature at the incubator event, and
            receive discounted advertising on the HRTIS website

Resource Sponsor ($500)

The Incubator System provides the opportunity for companies to investigate and form partnerships and joint endeavors with our clients and associates, as well as resources for clients to accomplish their mission. 

As an Resource Sponsor you will:

get introductions to Incubator clients,
            receive invitations to select mixers and closed events,
            receive up to 5 tickets to client graduations,
            get your individual or corporate bio posted on the appropriate HRTIS webpage,
            get a hyperlink from the appropriate HRTIS website to your company website,
            get discounted advertising on the HRTIS website, and
            receive access to the Incubator’s client contact list

Mix-N-Mingle Sponsor/Co-Sponsor ($3,000/$1,500)

The Incubator System hosts this after-hours professional networking event wherein key decision makers and business leaders from Hampton Roads and surrounding areas come to network with our Incubator clients and incubator associates.  Your company can be apart of this regional networking function by becoming a sponsor.

As a Mix-N-Mingle Sponsor or Co-Sponsor, you will:

get introductions to Incubator clients,
            receive invitations to select mixers and closed events,
            get your company logo strategically placed on Mix-N-Mingle event flyers and reminders,
            get your individual or corporate bio posted on the appropriate HRTIS webpage,
            get a hyperlink from the appropriate HRTIS website to your company website,
            receive an opportunity to display banner and literature at the Mix-N-Mingle events,
            receive discounted advertising on the HRTIS and HRTC’s website and newsletters, and
            receive up to 5 tickets to the client graduation event

Client Sponsor ($3,000)

An emerging company typically faces elevated fiscal costs, some of which the Incubator System minimizes for its clients.  As a Client Sponsor, you can directly impact a business and strengthen the strands of a potential long-term associate.

As a Client Sponsor, you will:

get introductions to Incubator clients,
            receive invitations to select mixers and closed events,
            get your company logo strategically placed on Mix-N-Mingle event flyers and reminders,
            get your individual or corporate bio posted on the appropriate HRTIS webpage,
            get a hyperlink from the appropriate HRTIS website to your company website,
            receive an opportunity to display banner and literature at the Mix-N-Mingle events,
            receive discounted advertising on the HRTIS website
            receive access to the Incubator’s client contact list
            receive mention in the client summary on the HRTIS website
            be a press release sponsor and mentioned in press release(s) regarding the client
            be listed as a client sponsor in press releases issued by the Incubator System
            get your company logo or individual name listed on sponsored client literature
            receive up to 10 tickets for the client graduation event
            receive reports on the client’s status
            receive detailed summaries of client’s business progress (upon request), and
            receive an annual membership in the Hampton Roads Technology Council  

New Technology Advocate Sponsor ($10,000)

From Aerospace to Medical Care, from sensors to emitters, there is new technology in garages and corporate offices throughout Hampton Roads that are coming to the Incubator System in an endeavor to make mainstream.  As a New Technology Advocate, you can help in that process.

As a New Technology Advocate Sponsor, you will:

be the excusive sponsor in this category
            receive a seat on the HRTIS Board of Advisors
            be listed (or have your logo) in press releases issued by the Incubator System 
            get your individual or corporate bio posted on the appropriate HRTIS webpage,
            get a hyperlink from the appropriate HRTIS website to your company website,
            be listed as the New Technology Advocate in HRTIS literature,
            be able to renew Advocate status at the ($10,000) rate indefinitely,
            receive a one-year corporate membership in the Hampton Roads Technology Council,
            receive silver partner level benefits with the Hampton Roads Technology Council,
            receive 15 tickets to the client graduation event,
            get introductions to Incubator clients,
            receive access to the Incubator’s client contact list
            receive invitations to select mixers and closed events, and
            receive discounted advertising on the HRTC’s website and newsletter

 Incubator Sponsor ($15,000) - only two sponsorships awarded in this category/year

The Incubator System operates individual incubators throughout Hampton Roads and offers cross-functionality and mobility of its resources for Incubator clients. As an Incubator Sponsor you can direct funding and in-kind contributions to a specific incubator without limiting clients’ access to the benefits of the contribution.

As an Incubator Sponsor, you will:

be the excusive sponsor for the specific incubator you designate in this category
            receive a seat on the HRTIS Board of Advisors
            get your company profile on the HRTIS website along with a hyperlink to your website,
            be listed (or have your logo) in press releases issued by the Incubator System
            be listed as a Incubator Sponsor in HRTIS literature,
            receive a one-year corporate membership in the Hampton Roads Technology Council,
            receive gold partner level benefits with the Hampton Roads Technology Council,
            receive 20 tickets to the client graduation event,
            get introductions to Incubator clients,
            receive access to the Incubator’s client contact list,
            receive invitations to select mixers and closed events, and
            receive discounted advertising on the HRTC’s website and newsletter

System Sponsor (>$100,000) - only one sponsorship awarded in this category/year

The Incubator System reaches clients, businesses, and associates throughout Hampton Roads and offers avenues to expand businesses, networking connections, and partnerships. It fosters and encourages new ventures and entrepreneurial development. As a System Sponsor you can move forward the Incubator System’s mission to help entrepreneurs build successful companies in Hampton Roads.

As a System Sponsor, you will:

be the exclusive sponsor for this category
            receive a seat on the HRTIS Board of Advisors
            get your company profile on the HRTIS website along with a hyperlink to your website,
            be listed (or have your logo) in press releases issued by the Incubator System
            be listed as the System Sponsor in HRTIS literature,
