All HRTIS clients are given fee membership into the Hampton Roads Technology Council (HRTC). With membership in HRTC, HRTIS clients are eligible to receive a plethora of benefits afforded regular members.

ECPI's College of Technology has created an HRTC scholarship valued at $1,000.00, which HRTC members and their immediate families can apply toward any degree program at ECPI's Hampton or Virginia Beach campuses, provided they enroll as full time students. The College's Department of Continuing Education is also awarding scholarships, valued at 10% of the base tuition of currently offered programs, to HRTC members and their immediate family members who complete the applicable continuing education program. All awardees must be otherwise eligible to attend ECPI's College of Technology.
Courses offered through ECPI Education Services, Inc. are available to HRTC members at a commercial discount of 10% off course fees. These courses are similar to those taught at the ECPI College of Technology, but they do not carry college credit and can be tailored to meet members' training needs.
