Alumni of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets:
One of our cadets from the Tidewater area is looking for summer employment. Cadet Shyla Thomas is a junior in VPI Company, our civilian track program. She is a double major in aeronautical and ocean engineering and lives in Newport News. She is trying to find work in an engineering firm to gain some experience and the possibility of full time employment when she graduates in May 2010. If there are no openings for an internship or even part-time work, she would consider volunteering part-time for the experience.
If you have any openings or know of any companies who can use a good cadet, please email Colonel Dave Miller (dmiller3@vt.edu) and he will pass that information on to Cadet Thomas.
