Technology Transfer: Transferring innovation from federal labs and universities to the market place to support First Responder capabilities

Others interested will include First Responders, government planners, and anyone interested in new technologies.
Forum is designed to enable new technology transfer partnerships between federal laboratories and businesses that can use the technology to bring new products to market that can benefit first responders. Forum discussions will be guided by expert panel discussions in the following areas:
Environmental Monitoring--Radiation Incident response; wave height measuring technology
Remote Manipulation—Handling explosive / hazardous materials, robot locomotion.
Situation awareness to address safety (location of fires, hazards, safety zones) as well as use in surveillance/police action
Communication/data relay Technology that facilitates shared awareness
Final Panel discussion topic will be the "The Art of Technology Transfer" will discuss licensing, CRADAs ,and partnerships
