• 3/10/08
  • Following up with JFCOM. Exploring the Federal contact. Public funds will be needed for assistance. At this point, a clear plan does not exist.
• 2/11/08
  • Difficulty in recruiting volunteers to assist. Best connection is still JFCOM. Trying to get the State to build a new building in Hampton which will contain lab space. Also have had some discussion with VMASC regarding an incubator location. Considering alternatives.
• 1/14/08
  • In discussions with the Joint Forces Command as a hosting site. It was suggested to use the term “Innovation” center instead of incubator. 
  • Also seeking state and federal financial support.
  • Most of the discussion in the past has been with Hampton, but it is a goal to have a physical location on the Southside.
  • Should A.C.T. be considered?

  • Discussion with Suffolk and Joint Forces Command.
  • Time frame is 1-3 years?
  • Possible location would be in or near VMASC facility
  • Funding could be possibly come from a non-profit veterans organization
